Shawna O’Dell, RN, MSN
Director of Post-Acute Care Services

Shawna received her BSN in  from  and her MSN in   from  . She has worked in the Home Care and Hospice industry since 2005 and became Director of HSHS Home Care & Hospice Southern Illinois in 2014.

Shawna lives in Toledo with her husband John and their two children, Will and Natalie. When she is not at work, you can often find her at baseball and softball games!


 
Amy Frederking, RN, BSN
Home Care Manager

Amy received her BSN in 1999 from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. She joined the HSHS Home Care Southern Illinois team in 2006 and became Home Care Manager in 2014.

When asked why she feels connected to our mission, Amy responded: “I love post-acute care due to the relationships you can build with the patient. Many days it does not feel like work. You are able to sit with the patient and educate, and assess and truly spend the time with them to ensure they are getting what they need.”

Amy lives in Altamont with her husband, Shane and their 2 boys, Joseph and Garrett.  When Amy is not at work, she enjoys cheering on the Chicago Cubs and spending time with my family.
